And then there is the famous Carine's Italian Fish Grotto. In 1918 The Carines' grandfather came to this village from Sicily. In 1947 Dominic Carine opened the restaurant to serve breakfast to the harbor's fisherman. The grand-daughter, now an elderly "Mama Carine" still serves and entertains guests personally.
