~~Point Cabrillo Light Station~~

Located on the California coast in Mendocino County, the Point Cabrillo Light Station was first lit in 1909.

The lens, a Fresnel lens, flashes every 10 seconds and can be seen from at least 25 miles in the distance.  This lens, created by a French physicist, consists of 90 lead glass, hand-ground panes and weighs 6800 pounds.

~~Notice the ginormous fog horns sitting on the roof.~~

 Booooooo Ahhhhhhhhhhhh  (Fog horn sound?????)
