~~Walking the Golden Gate~~

The Golden Gate Bridge is arguably the most iconic...and definitely the most photographed bridge in the world. Spanning 1.7 miles and 220 feet above of the choppy, cold bay waters, the suspension bridge draws thousands of visitors a year...most of whom make it home...as on average, one person every two weeks jumps off.

On this day, the walk was cold, windy, drizzly and familiarly foggy.

Even walking at a healthy clip, it took a good 45 minutes to get from the south side to the north side. Here's to looking back...

The 1.7 hike back seemed especially long and a bit brutal.

Even this little guy puffed to protect from the elements...

And then, of course...the traveling gnome bears... They don't seem to hear, say or see anything that matters....
